A post on social media has its moment and then it’s history; an entry here stays — a growing archive built to be useful for years, for whoever needs it next. It’s a small attempt to give something back to an industry that deserves that kind of permanence.

Our approach
Entries are built from primary sources — class and flag state circulars, audit and vetting findings, IMO and regulatory filings — rather than press releases or secondhand aggregation. If there’s nothing worth reporting in a given week, we don’t publish filler to fill a schedule.
